Independent radio access project
Infinity Cellular
A real cellular connection starts with a base station and a working Internet uplink. QuantaPhi is the phone interface and control center, not a substitute for the physical network.
How Infinity provides an actual data connection
In a one-site pilot, subscribers would connect to a local radio instead of paying for individual LTE subscriptions. The radio network operator still needs to fund its uplink. A private CBRS LTE deployment does not automatically provide nationwide coverage, roaming, SMS, emergency calling or regular phone-number service.
Keep the Motorola SIM · choose a supported LTE band
We can keep the existing SIM in the phone. Motorola lists Band 2, Band 4, Band 5, Band 12 and Band 66 for both published XT2163-4 and XT2163-6 variants. These are licensed cellular bands; hardware compatibility is only the first test. Infinity must hold appropriate spectrum rights or obtain authorized access from a licensee before operating a base station on one.
A working SIM from another carrier can connect to an Infinity radio only if the SIM's issuing operator authorizes that network through a supported roaming or network-sharing arrangement. Entering its phone number into a QuantaPhi database does not provide the SIM's authentication credentials.
Fallback: certified CBRS Band 48 modem/router with Wi-Fi to the Motorola. This is a separate radio device, not a software unlock. Your current 911 service should remain in place during testing.
Motorola Moto G Pure: SIM tray and radio compatibility
The Moto G Pure has a nano-SIM slot and an LTE modem, but published band lists do not show LTE Band 48, used by the planned Infinity CBRS base station. The SIM is a network identity card, not a built-in Internet connection. A case coating or app cannot change the radio's supported frequencies.
Practical option: a separately certified Band 48 LTE modem/router could connect to the Infinity radio and provide Wi-Fi to this Motorola. That keeps the existing phone in use while testing an Infinity-operated cellular connection, once a genuine uplink and authorized base station exist.
Model variations must be checked before equipment purchase. No private SIM identifiers are collected here. Motorola SIM tray information · Published Moto G Pure LTE bands.
What works online right now
These checks confirm only that this browser can reach the existing QuantaPhi services through its current connection. They do not prove an Infinity cellular tower exists.
First real cellular pilot · readiness board
Build one legal CBRS radio cell with a Linux-based Open5GS core and an independent uplink, then prove an actual phone can load a public website using only the Infinity SIM and radio path. All checks below are operator notes—not independently verified evidence.
Infinity vs. a cellular carrier
The difference: the website supplies user registration, web calling, Bubbles, network management and access policies. Infinity Cellular must additionally supply legally usable radio spectrum, base stations, authentication, routing, power and an upstream Internet connection. These are separate physical services.
Use the existing Infinity Phone switchboard for web calling once the phone has data. Until the private network is verified, retain existing emergency calling and data service.
